Google Voice gives you a dedicated phone number you can use anywhere—on your computer, mobile device, or inside WealthSmyth. It offers a free personal option that works perfectly for most people. You can forward calls to another number, like your mobile, so you never miss an opportunity.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through:
Step 1: Set up your Google Voice account and get your free number
Go to voice.google.com, select Personal (this is the free option).
Sign in with your Gmail account.
Enter your mobile phone number so calls can forward to your cell if you choose.
4. Choose your new Google Voice number from the list of available options.
5. Your Google Voice main screen should look like this.
Step 2: Install the Google Voice Chrome extension
Make sure you’re using Google Chrome as your browser.
In Chrome, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
Hover over Extensions and click Visit Chrome Webstore.
Search for Google Voice.
5. Click Add to Chrome, then confirm by selecting Add Extension.
6. At the top of your browser you will see an alert that Google Voice has been added
Step 3: Test your setup from the Leads page in WealthSmyth.
Log in to app.wealthsmyth.ai, and navigate to Leads.
Find the phone numbers column in your leads list — they should now have green Google Voice icons next to each number. If they do not, refresh your page.
Click any phone number to start a call through Google Voice.
Step 4: Power through your calls in half the time
During your Phone Zone or dedicated calling block, open the Leads page in WealthSmyth and make your calls straight from there.
